All Things Google
Your Google Account gives you access to Gmail and Google Docs which are the mainstay of communication this year in Physics. If you already have a Google Account, you can sign in here. Note: If your current Google Account name is inappropriate or something that I cannot clearly use to identify you, make a new one. See Mr. Skubis if you are unsure.

Getting Started

To obtain complete Google access, your first step is to create a New Google Account - Gmail. Follow the online directions. Note: Your Google Account name MUST be appropriate and professional. Also, I must be able to clearly identify you. I will block all communication that is offensive in any way. Write down your new account name and password and store it in a secure location. This is the only email through which I will communicate with you.

Account name guidelines

  1. NEVER include your full name, birthday, social security number, student number, etc.
  2. Do not use terms that may be deemed sexually or racially derogatory. For example: sexygirl, hood_rat, science.stud, etc.
As a rule of thumb, choose a name that you would use to send email to a college recruiter or your pastor.
Consult Mr. Skubis with specific questions.

Accessing your Google Account

Creating a Gmail account was the initial step toward opening our communication in Physics. Now follow the link: New Google Account and finish the process of connecting to the digital world.
